Oh hell, Single in Sitka put the biggest smile on my face!
Everything about this book called to me. When Katy Regnery announced its release, I was just ecstatic for the chance to read an ARC. From the very first chapter I was all in and couldn’t put it down. I binged through it so quickly and fell head over heals in love with Luke and Amanda and their wonderful love story! It truly was one great read!
Katy Regnery excels at delivering sweet to the bone and sexy as hell romance!
I hadn’t read a Katy Regnery book in quite some time which is crazy because I love her writing. In any case, this book was right up my alley and I had to give it a shot. From the very beginning of the book, I knew I was in for one hell of a ride. The storyline was so fun, the writing was engaging and addictive and I was hooked.
The characters were also fantastic and were so easy to love. Amanda was an awesome heroine who was quirky, sweet, witty, sarcastic and so kind. She was loads of fun and I really admired her strength and confidence. Luke was so flipping swoon-worthy. He was the total package, caring, kind, sexy and comforting. He was so strong for having gone through what he did and coming out on the other side as a dedicated father. He and Amanda were amazing together. They had instant and explosive chemistry, a connection that wouldn’t quit and their romance was just so addictive. Amanda and Luke had awesome sexy times and the sweetest sweet times. Their relationship was so effortless and beautiful, they were meant for each other and seeing them fall in love and navigate their feelings was great even when I wanted to shake them sometimes for their stubbornness.
My one critique about this book would be that I would have loved for Amanda to have spent more time with Luke’s children. By the end when it was mentioned that she had come to love them, I just couldn’t quite see where that love came from because she didn’t spend that much one one one time with them to develop that kind of a relationship but aside from that, everything was spot on!
Cute, sexy and full of swoon-worthy moments, Single In Sitka is the perfect feel-good romance that’ll have you wanting to fly out to Alaska to find your very own Luke!
Overall, I was so happy with this book. It was so addictive, sexy and just amazing. The characters had me head over heels for them from the beginning and as their romance developed, I just fell harder for Luke and Amanda and their lovely romance. They deserved so much happiness and I’m glad they got it. I’m giving Single In Sitka 4.5 stars and would recommend it to fans of contemporary romance or rom-coms. I can’t wait to read more from this series!
